I have been researching my great great grandfather, John William King born Suffolk, who owned the 'White Horse' in Shenley Herts. All of his sons, but one owned pubs around London and his daughters (but one) all married husbands who also owned pubs, see the King Family, Shenley. ***

At the 'Duke of St.Alban' Highgate Road, London; I have the 1901 & 1911 census for Charles Coomber born 1870 in Kent married Charlotte Augusta (nee King) were living at Duke of St. Albans, Highgate Road London with their family, Charles W., Violet and Doris Coomber.
Charles died June 1915 in Barnet, Herts, and Charlotte A. remarried in June 1919 to Edward. R. Colston in Barnet Herts., London. Don't know if she was still living at the Duke of St. Alban when she remarried. ***
