Adam & Eve, 284 Euston Road & 1 Hampstead Road NW1

St Pancras index

There are two Adam & Eve in Pancras in 1839, and I am unsure which is referred to in 1788. At 288 Euston Road in 1862 and 1869; 1 Hampstead Road is at the junction with 284 Euston Road. The British History online site describes this area, and the Adam & Eve, with considerable detail.

The pub which was latterly at 284 Euston Road had an earlier address of 20 Bath Place, New Road. The Adam and Eve, Bath place in the 1856 license transfer. The address is more usually given as 284 & 286 Euston Road. *
