St Mary Woolnoth pub history index
At various times it was called The European Hotel, The European Coffee House, The European and The European Tavern. It was demolished c1885. The headquarters of Union Bank Of London (now part of NatWest); was opened on the site in 1887. This in turn was itself demolished and replaced by the current Nat West building in 1929. *
