The son of Samuel Beeton; Samuel Orchart Beeton was a great publisher,
including a low cost English version of Uncle Toms Cabin, in 1852; amd a
magazine later becoming the Boys Own in 1855. He was married in 1856 to
Isabella Dorling, the daughter of Henry Dorling (famous for the Epsom Race
Course). Isabella compiled the infamous "Beatons Book of Household
Management". Henry Dorling is the brother of Edward Dorling at
Dorling's Hotel, Walton on the Naze. *
