On Monday afternoon, aged 67 years, Mrs Mary Ashkettle, of the Bull, Sherborne Lane; she was a very old Licensed Victualler, and kept the above house upwards of 35 years and was twice left a widow in the above house; she was a Donor to the Licensed Victuallers Asylum.

The Girdlers Arms Tavern, and Commercial Dining House and Wine vaults, very eligibly situated, No 16 Sherborne Lane, a few paces from King William street, City of London - the premises have been recently put into thorough ornamental and substantial repair, and are constructed upon modern principles, comprehending adequate room and conveniences for the conduct of a large business, and in one of the most favourable situations in the City - held on a lease for a term of nearly 19 years, at the trifling rent of 50 pounds per annum - a very large proportion of the purchase money may remain on mortgage.
