Russell court joins Drury lane at about 75 Drury lane, the Royal Standard. Cross court is several buildings along Russell court away from Drury lane. The York coffee rooms are at #20 aat the junction with Cross court in 1845.

The name 'Keans Head' clearly comes from Edmund Kean, and this was also known as the P.S. Tavern (Prompt side), whilst the Harp was known as the O.P Tavern (Opposite Prompter). Edmund Kean (1787 - 1833) was a prominent actor at theatres in Drury lane  - as can be discovered on the arthurlloyd site in its history of Drury lane.
