St Margaret New Fish street, Pubs history
The original Britannia in 1948, looking up the hill with The Mitre two doors away at number 38 Fish Street Hill
The Britannia in c1960, the pub has been rebuilt and enlarged, The Mitre is now next door.
The Britannia in 1983, the lower end of the street has been demolished and both pubs are soon to follow.
Although the current Britannia has an entrance on Fish St Hill, the address is 20 Monument Street, London EC3R 8AJ.
