At the birth of their daughter, Harriett, John Ackers Moffatt is a
victualler in Mint Street, St George martyr, Southwark in 1834. John Moffatt
is now running the Grapes in Duke Street, Lincoln's Inn. and latterly the
One Tun, 24 Strand (by 1846).
John died in the first quarter of 1849, and his wife Susannah evidently took
over at the One Tun (1851). John is the son of William Moffatt, who is at
the Admiral Benbow. *
