Queens Larder, 15 Cosmo place WC1

St George Martyr pub history index

The pub was present by 1710 and remains open (2007). The address varies in earlier census, including 1 Queens Square in 1891 and 1911, and 15 Cosmo Place in 1899 ** The modern address in 2018 is at 1 Queen square, Bloomsbury, London WC1N 3AR and is still open for business. As it was a beer house, most trade directories only list this in the beer retailers section once we have found the correct address to look for which is generally at 15 Cosmo place. The 1911 census suggests there are three families at this property, and I am guessing it is the occupants over different floors.

A listing of historical London public houses, Taverns, Inns, Beer Houses and Hotels in  St George Martyr parish, London. The St George Martyr, London Public House Trade Directory uses information from census, Trade Directories and History to add licensees, bar staff, Lodgers and Visitors.
