I thought you might like to see the 1914 drawing of Christ Hospital School offices, 27 Great Tower Street at the corner of Water Lane. Christ Hospital School was founded by Edward VI in 1552 to house, feed and educate poor children of London. *
By 1902 it had moved to new buildings in Horsham, West Sussex, where the school is still based today.

Needing to retain London offices to administer the school estates and as a place for interviewing and examining prospective pupils, a new building was opened at 27 Great Tower Street in 1914.

It later became a branch of Nat West and in 1995 was rebuilt as Hung Drawn & Quartered. *
