The pub and its neighbours were demolished circa 1924 during the extension of the P&O building. The P&O bank opened on this site in 1926 and was in turn demolished in 1964 during the building of the P&O Tower opened in 1969, demolished 2008. ***
The site of the pub is now open space at the foot of The Leadenhall Building (The Cheese Grater).
