Originally at 27 Peter Street was renamed as two streets 16 June 1896, part Doyce Street and part Clenham Street, the latter was renamed Clennam Street on 12 May 1927.
The pub was the Duke of Kent from 1825-1910, and renamed the Lord Clyde in 1922 on a rebuild. It has been in the hands of the Fitzpatrick family from 1956-2008 at least. *** Although also named the Lord Clyde in the 1891 census. * The Peter and Key, 27 Peter street in the four early records until 1822. *+
