Globe, 104 Borough Road, Southwark St George Martyr, London

Southwark St George Martyr index

The Globe, 5 Grosvenor place, Borough road in 1842; the Globe, Borough yard in the 1848 license transfer. Although it is marked as a public house on the 1952 Ordnance Survey map, there are Courage brewery sale records of 1929 calling this "formerly the Globe", so it may have closed at this point and been taken over by the adjoining polytechnic, prior to later demolition. *
