The name was was changed in 1981 to the Spice of Life, My Parents took over
this pub then and it had just been renamed from the Scots Hoose. My parents
were Pat and Evelyn Stenson and ran the Spice of Life from 1981 to 1987 when
it changed brewerys, and Mr McAvoy took it over.
