Along with two cousins, one of which we have only recently found, are all descendants - Grandaughters of Ada, Mary Ann & Amelia Goody. ***
Their father, our great grandfather was Owen Goody's brother and amongst some photos we were sharing we came upon the picture below of our great Uncle Owen Goody outside 110 Weymouth Terrace with his name emblazoned on the letter boarding and him standing in the doorway.
We are immensely proud of our Goody family as they all survived and supported each other through some very difficult times, so we wondered if you would like to add this photograph to the site for others to see, as being a large and extended family there maybe others out there looking for our Goody heritage too.....
[1st January 1908, Owen Eugene Goody, a publican aged 28 of 6 Long street, son of Owen Eugene Goody, also a publican; marries Ruby Gertrude Nicholson, aged 22, at Shoreditch - he is a beer seller at the Red Lion, 243 Northwold Road, Upper Clapton by 1911, and a Licensed Victualler at the Ossory Arms, 47 Ossory road, Old Kent road, by 1921]
