Queens Head, 45 Pitfield Street, Shoreditch N1

I am presuming that the 1811 entry is correct. The address is 20 Pitfield Street in 1856 and earlier, prior to street renumbering. * This pub is now called Charlie Wright's International Bar. I see that Charlie Wright was landlord in 1910. *** Closed 2015, demolished c. 2016. *+

I am related to Joseph Collieu (Queens Head, 45 Pitfield Street, Shoreditch). He ran the pub from 1863, then his wife Sarah in 1879, then his son Joseph about 1891. ++
My great-grandmother left this really cool 1908 postcard of the pub.
It appears to be sent by Charles Wright to my great-grandmother, Eliza Ada Collieu.
She is not listed in your family members, as she was married, but all the other family members listed line up perfectly. Charles signs it "bro" brother, although they are not related. But, certainly they would have been like family, together at the pub.
