I have been looking for the old pubs, that I know my Grandfather, Robert Arthur Hubert Watson ran, from approximately 1915- 1923. The first was The Prince Albert, Nile Street, Hackney, and I believe The Rifle Volunteer, which was 47 Hackney Road by 1920. By 1926, he is at the Royal Oak, 72 Whiston street. ***
