William Mead was Samuel William Mead and married to Charlotte Eliza Witherall (aka Eliza) on the 21st March 1869 at St James, Bermondsey.
It was her half brother George Witherall who later took over the license. Charlotte Eliza was my paternal Great Great Grandmother.
