In 1851 and earlier, it was trading as the Chequers, although named the Chequers & Greenland Fishery in the 1849 license transfer. By 1852 it had become the Chequers & Greenland Fishery – taking additionally the name of the Old Greenland Fishery pub (of 6 Wapping Wal) which had stood a few doors away. It became the Old Dock House by 1881, although the previous name seems also to have remained in use. It is now demolished. **
