This pub is now demolished. ** In the 1842 directory, this is listed as the Albion, but prior to this in 1832 it is named the Ship & Shears and not to be confused with the Ship & Shears at 16 Lower Shadwell. It exists as a public house until about 1924.
In 1920, The Albion, Shadwell High Street is at the corner of Mercer Street. Shadwell High Street is now part of The Highway, Mercer Street became Shadwell Street. The pub was destroyed in WW2.

To continue the list of owners. Around 1924, the Albion had become disused and was purchased or leased by the Quakers, Fred and Muriel Parsons. They converted it into a hostel for ex-prisoners, living in a flat on the premises until Fred re-married after Muriel’s death and moved to Chingford in 1936. *
