Rotherhithe index
This is most commonly referred to as Platform Coffee House, but is also listed in the 1839 Directory as Platform House, and variously as The Platform, Platform House and Platform Coffee House in Sun Fire Office insurance records. It may therefore have been more of a coffee house, but the insurance records list a victualler at this location, so it may have served alcoholic drinks. * By 1851 there is a coffee house at 390 Rotherhithe street, next to Platform Wharf
