My Wifes's grandfather was Ernest Walter Henry Reeve who was the publican from 1940 to 1953 (1953 might be wrong as he was going through a devorce at the time). **
Also he seems to be associated with the Albert PH 59 Drummand Road SE15 1940-1941.
By 1957 he had left the trade. He did work in London and 1960s move to Ipswich, where he is buried.
