Victor Thomas Turner had the telephone number during the 1930s up until 1939 as "The Cock" in High Street Sutton.
So I think he may have been the manager in the 1930s before William Herbert Size, as Victor went on after that to manage the Alperton Park Hotel in Wembley area in the 1950s. By 1959 he and his wife, Rebecca had moved to manage The Orange Tree Hotel at 45 Kew Road, Richmond and he eventually died there in 1968. *
