My great, great grandparents owned/ran both the Cleveland Arms  and the Redan along with their daughter.
In 1901, they are at The Cleveland Arms. Francis Joseph Schiff & Sophy Schiff (1901 census) (Sophy changed her surname to Skiff some time between 1908 and 1910 after my gg grandfather passed away - possibly because it was a jewish surname and she was a christian, her original unmarried name was Catherine Sophia Childs). *
