Application for temporary authority in regard to the "Gorringe Park Hotel", London road, Mitcham, from Ernest George Beer to Edmund Otto Rehm [Rhem in article], late of the "Duke of York", Larkhall lane, London
The applicant had been cautioned by the Commissioner of Police for giving sweets to children for returning empty cans. The Chairman said the practice could not fail to be disapproved of, and the very facy of children frequenting licensed premises and congregating there was sufficient to jeopardise the license. The application was granted.
