Somerset Arms, 20 New road, Mile End E1

Mile End Pubs history

It appears that parts of New Road is in Whitechapel & others in Mile End. Closed in 1912 as a pub through the compensation award scheme. It still stands and is in use as an estate agent's offices, albeit with an obvious 'pub' ground floor exterior. **
