I played in a country and western band in the pub in the 1960s. The lead singer was married to Lily Johnson, the proprietors daughter, Barbara Johnson.
Unfortunately the singer Tom Fricker died 1980 aged 40 from a brain haemorrhage.
The steel guitar player went on to fame known as B J Cole, probably the best steel guitar player in the world.
I played drums.
My name is Doug Smith.
