His wife Charlotte Martha BULLEN then took over the business until shortly
before her death in March 1901. Their son, also James Robert Bullen was
latterly at 39 Upper North Street, Poplar (Sir
John Barleycorn) in the 1891 census. Another son, John Bullen is a Beer
Retailer at the Jolly Sailor, 8
