Albion Street still exists today but was renamed English Street in 1938. The Albion was located on the east side of Albion Street at the north-east corner of Albion and Carter Streets. The original terraced housing on the east side of Albion / English Street was was still there in 1961, however was cleared by 1972 and replaced by the present Loweswater House. *+
