1842 - Will:
It was described as situated on the corner of Chesterfield Street and Little
Marylebone Street, with the leaseholder Mary Tyler a widow. The
proceeds, and income, were left to my ancestor Martha Savage 1809-1885, also
a widow. I am happy to share the information/copy of the will if anyone is
researching this pub or its occupants around the relevant time period.
Martha Savage continued to receive income from her annuity under this will
until her death in 1885. ***
