My mum and dad, Evelyn Edith and Edwin Roland Roberts managed three pubs in London between 1930 and 1940.
Dad was at the King Lud, Ludgate Circus in 1936, when he met and married my mum. *

He was at the Three Jolly Gardeners in Hammersmith at the start of the war and left there to train as an engineer in 1940 or 1941. At some time he also managed the Green Man, Edgware Road. *
