Marylebone Mercury 17 March 1928
St Marylebone Licensing Sessions
Licenses of four houses referred to the Compensation authority:
The Foley Arms, Foley street, was an old house clean and well kept. It was the only beerhouse within a quarter of a mile; it had a good trade, and the lot of the present licensee and his family would be hard if the house were closed.
After consultation, the Bench decided to refer the four houses.
