Situated at the junction of Great Portland Street and Carburton Street, south side. Long demolished. The address is given as both Portland Road and 1 Carburton Street in 1856 and earlier. It is called the Colosseum Tavern in the 1841 directory, and simply the Colosseum in 1839. *
