Marylebone index
The 1827 Licensed Victuallers Association subscriber list and the 1849 license transfer lists the Britannia in Moore Street, being at 30 Moore Street in 1848. This makes sense as the pub is at the junction of Moore Street and Brown Street. At 31 Brown Street by 1895, maybe earlier. The address is also given variously as 27 Brown Street in 1841 and 1882, as 26 Brown Street in 1839, and as 29a Brown Street in 1851, 1856 and 1869. *
