The Allsop Arms, Allsop terrace, New road in the 1848 license transfer. It was rebuilt in the 20th century around the corner from its original site - hence the different address of 137-143 Gloucester Place London NW1 5AL. This is a Green King pub in 2017. The address is at 174 Marylebone Road by 1934, following rebuilding on the other side of the intersection with Gloucester Place, before being rebuilt again at its present site. It is at 44 Allsop Terrace, New Road in 1856 and earlier, prior to street renaming. It is usually listed as Allsop House in directories, but occasionally as the Allsop Hotel or Allsop Arms, the last of which is the present name. *
