In 1770, the Lodge of Friendship Masonic Lodge met at the Bunch of Grapes, in Limehouse Hole according to the 1813 list of Masonic Lodges.
Narrow Street was originally part of Fore Street, at 36 Fore Street in 1869 & earlier; Name shortened to the Grapes by 1938, and in the 1869 license transfer as the Grapes, Fore street.
