Lambeth pub history index
Originally called the Railway Tavern, it changed it name to the Brockwell Park Tavern in the mid-1890s following the opening of Brockwell Park in 1892. It was renamed the Brockwell Park Hotel in the 1970s and, following a short period as Ganley’s Irish Bar, it became the Florence in 2007. It is now run by the Metropolitan Pub Company, part of Greene King. *
