A robbery at the Watermans Arms - prisoner Smith was charged with stealing £43 12s 6d from a house belonging to Mr Phillips, Watermans Arms, Church street, Greenwich, stating that the money would be found in the yard at the back of the premises and that he trusted they would forgive hime as he committed the offence while labouring under the effects of drink.
