My father, Charles Grant, was the landlord of this pub between approximately April 1959 and 1965/66 **
There was a gin factory to the right of the building. Alongside the pub was a lane to the garages where the 'barrow bows' in North End Road stored their stock and stalls. When Earls Court was really high flying in the 1950s and 1960s, the pub used to provide meals during the motor show, boat show and the royal tournament

Chelsea News and General Advertiser 13 June 1975 - New pub management.
There is to be a new manager at the Lillie Arms, in Fulhams Lillie road.
The Inner London licensing justices have ben asked to approve the transfer of the licence to Mr John Clerkin from Mr Edward Power. Mr Clerkin has been manager of the Green Man in the Euston road. The last transfer of licence was in June of last year.

Fulham Chronicle 20 April 1979 - No Arms now for the Local Lillie
The Lillie Arms in Lillie road has changed its name to Lillie Langtry, and regulars celebrated the event with a "Cockney night">."
Now that the pub has been named after the famous actress licensees Mary and Bill McCarthy are looking for Lillie Langtry mementoes to put up on the walls.
