Duke of Wellington, 37 Wellington Street, Deptford

The south side of Flagon Row (later renamed Wellington Street), is what remains as McMillan Street. Flagon Row was at the heart of the ancient town of Deptford with its nucleus around the nearby St Nicholas' Church. The houses were demolished in 1896 to make way for an extension of Creek Road east to the end of Evelyn Street. reference. The Duke of Wellington was at 37 McMillan Street, it was demolished about 2002/2003.
