George Landragin moved from the Captain Cook, Bethnal Green where he was also a licensed victualler sometime between 1862 and 1864 (based on christenings of his children) to the Druid’s Head in Deptford; and then was declared bankrupt in 1867. He was the brother to the Martin Landragin that ran the Fox Inn on King Street in Greenwich in the 1870’s and 1880’s. *

In 1887 he marries Louisa Helen Bradshaw when he lists himself as a barman living at 25 Sayer street, and his father is listed as Charles Wood, publican. He was also licensed victualler of the Norman’s Arms pub in Greenwich in 1891. By 1901 he has moved on to the Black Swan, 54 Bermondsey street **
