[28th December 1785, St Giles : Marriage of Isaac Hare, and Elizabeth Hill, both of this parish. A bond exists for this marriage listing Isaac Hare as a victualler, St Giles. Isaac is aged 23 years, Elizabeth is 22 years of age.

The will refers to Josiah Hill, victualler, owning leaseholds in Petticoat lane, in Bishopsgate, leaving £250 to his wife, Rebecca ?,
and to his son in law, Isaac Hare, of Moor lane, London, victualler, executrix, and to his son Josiah Hill, now away abroad in the East Indies, £100; and to daughter, Elizabeth, wife of Isaac Hare, £100; and Mary Hill, living at Moor lane, spinster, £100. ]

By 1800, Isaac Hare,  is keeping the Golden Key, in Tenter alley, Little Moorfields when he testifies in a case at the Old Bailey against Thomas Jenkins for stealing two pewter pint pots. Henry Lovell is his Pot Boy at the time.
