young, we used to visit them with our parents. Katie Ellen Deacon was
Godmother to my Sister Sheila Carnaby (Parrs Head). *
From 1948 to 1952, Katie Deacon and Dennis Deacon were Licensed Victuallers
at the "Preston Hotel", Preston Road, Wembley. (now 161 London Road). From
1953 to 1962 Katie Deacon and Dennis Deacon were Licensed Victuallers at the
Kings Arms, 82 Tottenham Court Road. *
Over the years they had multiple pubs at the same time:
1955, the “Regency
Arms” 53 to 55 Regency Street, SW1. *
1959 to 1962 "Devonshire
Arms", 7 Duke Street, Manchester Square W1 and the "Princess of Wales",
27 Villiers Street, WC2. *
