My father and mother Patrick A Bolger and Anne Bolger ran this pub for Courage breweries from Aug 21st 1970 until March 31st 1977 *
There were three bars in total :
The main bar was the lounge with a snack bar menu and NO televisions.
The smaller bar was renamed George Bernard Shaw bar.
Downstairs my father opened the first wine bar in London on 1973 ( I think), and there was a piano which had replaced the old juke box that had been in situ before that. *
