I found the baptism record of 30th June 1892, for William Sydney Alfred Wilkins at All Hallows, East India Docks.
He was the son of William Alfred and Emma Mary Ann Wilkins, the record shows the father living at 16 Tetley Street and being a Beer House Keeper, he later went on to the Star PH, 64 South street, Newington, 1901 and The Crown PH, 172 Cable Street, in 1911. The father morts in 1913 at the Gosterwood Tavern, 111 Gosterwood Street, Deptford. **
