Royal Victor, 234 Old Ford Road, Bethnal Green E3

Bethnal Green pub history index

aka  Victor; This pub was first established in 1865 to 1911 at least, but is now demolished. The 1871 directory places it by the canal. The name is remembered in the name of a new private residential development ** A Bow Heritage Trail plaque on an adjacent building states that this pub closed in 1903 and was demolished in 1985. *+ Interesting that a pub at this address was still open in 1911, and named in the 1910 directory.
