The address is given as 13 Cock Lane in the 1788 Sun Fire Office insurance record, an older name for the street. * This pub is believed to have been established in the late-17th century and was rebuilt in its present form in around 1850. The address, 182 Church Street, has now become 34 Redchurch Street by 1944, and prior to this was at 34 Church Street for many years. It was renamed the Owl & Pussycat in around 1990.  **
