Existed from at least 1856. At 8 White Street in 1861, and 1864 - street renumbering, and at 68 White Street in 1869, 1881 & 1891. A Taylor Walker corner pub, the Bricklayers Arms was situated at 236 Vallance Road, east side, probably at the southern junction with Derbyshire Street or Sale Street, this section of which has been demolished; both these sites are now part of a small park called Weavers Fields. ** The address is at 236 Vallance Road by 1899, following street renaming. *
