because in the previous census in 1891 the family of the above mentioned Lydia
Annie Jenkins (future wife of James Brierley) were living at 34 Somerford
Street, Bethnal Green.
On that same census page there is a “Beer House Keeper”, Thomas P Rendell &
wife, at 28 Somerford Street – I see he is mentioned on your site at that
address, although no name for that pub? *
