On searching the Macaires on family tree, I have found that James Isaac
Macaire was in the above pub on the 1851 census; he died in 1860. In the
1861 census, his wife Frances continued with the pub. James Probate was not
settled until 1866 - at that point it showed that he had been L.V. of the
Anchor & Hope and left his Probate to James his son, who was the L.V. of the
Falcon *
